- The emergence of digital photography sparked the passion I feel for the medium today. It combines my curiosity with technology as well as my love of photography. I have always been drawn to capturing textures and patterns, whether natural or man made and the interplay with light that provides an emotional response. I also am deeply committed to protecting the planet, of which I have made a career. I am in constant awe of nature’s simple beauty and it is my hope that my photography will motivate people to do their part to preserve the planet for future generations. Having been raised in a metropolitan environment, New York City, I am also drawn to urban landscapes with emphasis on photo essays to tell my story, especially in the context of black and white. I believe that while photography is seen with the eyes, it evokes all of the senses.
